THE WANNIASSA 'SPOOK' TREE

A visit to see the Spook Tree in the Wanniassa Primary Schoolyard in the Australian Capital Territory. The "Spook' tree is actually a Ngambri scar tree. An old living, tangible link to Canberra's Indigenous history.

For more info on Wanniassa's Scar Tree's I have a post about the ones I have seen. There are several others I have seen here and many, read of, that I am yet to find and visit and I am sure there are still more to discover. I also highly encourage people to learn about Canberra's Ngambri People. Ngambri website.
