After heavy rain over the weekend Canberra's dam system is 100% full and overflowing. This video from ACTEW Corporation YouTube shows the newly finished spillway gushing with water from a bloated dam.
"The extraordinary rainfall in the Canberra region throughout 2010 has brought the region's dam levels up to 100% capacity for the first time in 12 years. The rain has also stimulated tremendous flora and fauna activity. The newly completed Googong Dam Spillway was christened on December 3rd in spectacular style."
